Hi everyone! February has been another great month, with a nice variety of different content for you all to enjoy! I especially enjoyed making the Game Boy Competition video, after so long, it was great to finally be able to talk about all the finalist entries from the competition!
I’m also really happy with the new podcast format, and glad that people are enjoying listening to it. Somehow, I’ve passed 10,000 listens on Spotify, which is just insane! I didn’t start the podcast with any intention of it taking off at all, it was just another medium and outlet for any thoughts I had that weren’t big enough to make it into a main video, but over the years, it’s become something much bigger and better than I could have ever expected! I still like treating with no pressure or goals, but it’s great to know people do take the time to listen! Thank you!
The most exciting thing for me this month though was finally getting round to playing, and completing, Soul Blazer! A SNES game by Quintet which I’ve had in my collection for a long time. Thanks to streaming, I finally found the time to sit down and play it all the way through, and it was an amazing experience!

Website Updates
Nothing to share just yet… But I’m working on a Quintet Fan site which will be a page on the main site in the near future! I’ve been preparing the layout and making the different sections for consoles, staff and a company timeline. It’s probably a long way off going public, but it’s a fun project to work on in the background!
Favourite Content
Here’s some of the best content I’ve found this month! Enjoy! Seems like I’ve been watching a lot of game dev content… maybe it’s a sign!
Games I’ve been playing
I haven’t been playing much outside of stuff for content this month, but I did find time to play and finish Final Fantasy Crisis Core Remake, it was my first time properly playing the game, and I had an amazing time with it! The story was fantastic, if a little awkward due to the age and how the cut scenes were directed. Overall it was much more enjoyable for me than the story of FFVII Remake, and nicely set myself up for Rebirth, which I just started playing last night!
Analytics
While February definitely wasn’t as good as last month, and everything looks down on paper, I’m still really happy with where I’m at. Each video was one that I enjoyed making, and branching out to do more podcasts and streams has been very rewarding. I’m actually expecting March to do worse, as I’m not planning on making any big videos, instead, I’ll be trying a bit of an experiment and see how not caring about he algorithm at all affects the channel… Next week’s newsletter will be interesting!
