Sponsors and Brand Partnerships Information

Starting this year, I’m opening the channel back up to brand partnerships and sponsors!

If you would like to send a product to be showcased on the channel, email retrobreakgames@gmail.com and I can send you my PO Box details and we can discuss the content strategy.

There’s some rules i’m putting in place to make sure I can manage it better this time (see this post if you want to know why I stopped taking requests last year)

Promotion Rules

• I will give my full honest opinions of anything sent to me. 
• A sponsored video will be tagged as such appropriately, and include affiliate links where possible.
• If the product falls below my expectations or level of quality, then I will instead include it as part of a pickups or update video, and showcase it there instead. I do not want to make negative content or anything that would harm a brands reputation, so it’s best to not make the video at all if I feel like the product would be received poorly. 

Schedule

• Dedicated Sponsored Content Video (Product Showcase) – [Wednesday 4:00PM] – Twice Per Month
• Integration – [Friday 4:00PM] – Once Per Month
• Stream Integration – [Tuesday 7:30PM]

Dedicated Sponsored Review / Showcase Videos

If you are requesting a dedicated video, that will be up on a Wednesday and not interfere with my usual main videos on a Friday. These sponsored videos will only be extra content, and not interfere with my existing plans, so as not to alienate existing subscribers expecting regular Retro Gaming content.

I am limiting dedicated sponsored videos to two per month to give myself time to work on my own projects, and to not overload my channel with sponsored content. Please be aware that you may have to be added to a queue if the video slots have already been filled by other sponsors.

Integration Into Regular Videos

If you are requesting an integration into a regular video, I will aim to include a segment in the next “Pickups” or “Games I’ve Been Playing Recently” video after the product arrives.  – These are usually once per month.

Live Streams

I can also showcase products in live streams, which are scheduled every Tuesday evening.

Homebrew

• Any Homebrew games that are sent to me will be included in a Homebrew Compilation video.
• I’m not making individual Homebrew reviews for the foreseeable future due a changing direction for the channel. 
• Homebrew compilation videos will be released whenever I have 5 or more games to talk about.
