Super Donuts (Name subject to change) is a little game i’ve been thinking of making for quite a while. After the huge project I started last year with Quantum Shift (Click here to see it and download the demo!) I decided to tone down the scope a bit for my next game and keep things simple.
I finally decided to stop thinking and start doing, after a few weeks of working on and off i’ve got it to a playable state. It’s still very early days but hopefully now the foundations are in place I can go ahead and start designing some cool levels and gameplay elements! I have a lot planned for it and will keep posting updates both on here, and on my Game Design blog.
I’ve been working a lot on the physics to make sure it feels fun to play, it took me a while to figure out how to get the speed boosts to work properly!
The next thing to do is create some proper tile sprites and some animations for the donut!

Yeah its still pretty buggy and the levels are just randomly thrown together for the purposes of testing but at least its playable!
Thanks for reading, it’s a bit early for feedback yet but I’ll be sending out a demo probably in a few months so expect lots and lots of improvements before it goes online!
